I take a trip down the M20 to the Port of Dover to show the EV charging options on route, and show just how poor the route is for EV fast charging options. Whilst Maidstone and Folkestone have limited coverage, Ashford and Dover are very poorly served. Considering the huge volume of traffic heading down the M20 to cross the channel via ferry, it’s unbelievable that there’s such limited options for EV drivers. It’s crying out for Gridserve to create an Electric Forecourt in Dover or Ashford to provide more EV fast charging…
