Drainpipe Peas Failure: Trying to Grow Kelvedon Wonder Peas in Guttering

In this video, I try a method to start growing peas that makes it easier to transfer them into their final position, which I called drainpipe peas. By using some guttering you can grow a full row of peas, then easily slide them into their final growing position once they’ve sprouted and started growing.

We eat a lot of peas, they taste delicious when cooked straight from the pod. We try and freeze them straight away after harvesting to keep that sweet flavour. However, it doesn’t go well and I’m left scratching my head after a compost issue.

I’ve been asked a few times what kit I use, so here’s a breakdown of what I use. These are affiliate links – I will earn a small commission if you click and buy the item.
