SURI Sonic Toothbrush is a sustainable electric toothbrush, which the manufacturers claim is the last toothbrush you’ll ever need. They aim to use innovative materials that deliver more performance with less environmental impact and waste.
The brush heads are made from plant-based corn starch and the bristles are made from castor-oil. These bio-based materials reduces the reliance on petroleum-based plastics, and allows them to be genuinely recyclable.
Plus, the body of the brush is made from aluminium, which makes it long-lasting and easily recycled. The case can be taken apart by SURI, allowing them to repair and refurbish old brushes, avoiding the need for going to landfill when just one part breaks.
